Starbucks Secret Menu: S’mores Hot Chocolate Recipe | Get the Dish | POPSUGAR Food

We all love a good secret menu drink and the Starbucks's s'mores hot chocolate is one of our favorites for the holidays. Sure you can order it at the counter, but what if we told you we had our own take on how to make it even better at home? This is one of our favorite ways to stay warm during the cold winter months, what are some of yours?

RECIPE:

S'mores Hot Chocolate
From Anna Roberts, POPSUGAR FOOD

8 ounces milk
1/4 cup homemade hot chocolate mix
4 regular-sized marshmallows
Homemade whipped cream, for garnish
Crushed graham crackers, for garnish

Heat 8 ounces of milk until scalding.

Meanwhile, place 3 marshmallows together on a foil-lined sheet tray and place inside the oven. Turn on the broil setting and watch carefully until marshmallows caramelize. Turn off oven and remove marshmallows. Set aside to cool slightly.

Pour milk into a mug. Stir in hot chocolate mix. Break up 1 marshmallow and stir it in until dissolved for extra marshmallow flavor, optional. Garnish with toasted marshmallows, a dollop of whipped cream, and a sprinkle of crushed graham crackers.
