Marinated lamb chops cooked in spicy sauce and then grilled to perfection.STICKY LAMB CHOPSIngredients500 grams lamb chops 1 tablespoon lemon juice1 teaspoon fennel seedsSalt to taste4 tablespoons olive oil + for greasing1 tablespoon chopped garlic1 medium onion, finely chopped½ cup tomato ketchup1 teaspoon red chilli powder1 star anise1 teaspoon fennel powder1 teaspoon soy sauce1 teaspoon brown sugarMethod1. To marinate lamb chops, take chops into a bowl. Add lemon juice, fennel seeds, salt and 2-3 tablespoons olive oil and rub well. Refrigerate to marinate for an hour.2. To prepare sauce, heat remaining olive oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add onion and sauté on high heat till golden. Add tomato ketchup and mix well.3. Add chilli powder, star anise, fennel powder, reduce heat, mix and cook for a minute. Add soy sauce and mix well. Add brown sugar, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add some water, mix and cook on low heat for 2 minutes.4. Add marinated chops along with marination, mix, cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes or till lamb is half done.5. Heat a non-stick grill pan and grease with some olive oil.Place the half cooked chops and cook till grill marks appearequally from all sides.6.
