This British style Syllabub takes the classic combination of strawberries and cream to a whole new level. STRAWBERRY SYLLABUB WITH RED WINEIngredientsFor one portion 8-10 strawberries, hulled and cut into small pieces½ cup red wine2 tablespoons sugar1 cup yogurt1½ cups whipped cream Fresh mint sprigs for garnishingMethod1. Take strawberries in a bowl. Add sugar and wine, mix, cove with cling film and set aside for 30 minutes.2. Take yogurt in another bowl. Add whipped cream gradually and fold well. 3. Blend the strawberry-wine mixture using a hand blender to make smooth mixture. 4. Take ¾ yogurt mixture in another bowl. Add ¾ of strawberry-wine mixture and fold well. 5. Fill a piping bag fitted with a small star nozzle with strawberry-cream mixture.6. Put yogurt mixture in individual serving glasses filling ¾ of it. Pipe out some strawberry-cream mixture and pour some strawberry-wine mixture on top. Repeat the process till all the ingredients are used. 7. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs and serve immediately.
