Summer Butadon Recipe (Teriyaki-Style Pork Rice Bowl with Vegetables) Donburi | Cooking with Dog

We are making Summer Butadon, pork bowl using plenty of garlic and ginger root. We think men especially love this Summer Butadon. Enjoy the dish and beat the hot summer heat.

How to make Summer Butadon

100g Thin Pork Loin Slices (3.5 oz)
Any type of Flour
70g Onion (2.5 oz)
3 Shishito Peppers
1 piece of Okra

Toasted White Sesame Seeds
Shichimi - seven flavor chili powder
Shiraganegi - White part of a Long Green Onion, Shredded

- Seasonings -
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Sake
1 tbsp Mirin or substitute: 1 tbsp Sake+1 tsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Sugar
1 clove of Garlic, Grated
1 tsp Ginger Root, Grated

150g Steamed Rice (5.3 oz)
Lettuce Leaves
Sesame Oil or Vegetable Oil

* 1 tablespoon (tbsp) = 15 ml, 1 teaspoon (tsp) = 5 ml
