SURPRISE BUNSIngredients8 mini multigrain buns1 tablespoon butter1 tablespoon refined flour1 cup milk1 tablespoon grated mozzarella cheese + as required2 tablespoons processed cheese + as required4-6 French beans, boiled and finely chopped2-3 tablespoons boiled corn kernelsSalt to taste1 teaspoon castor sugar1 teaspoon red chilli flakes + for sprinklingCrushed black peppercorns to taste¼ medium pineapple, finely chopped½ medium red apple, peeled and finely choppedMethod1. To prepare white sauce, heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add flour and sauté for 30 seconds. 2. Add milk, mix and cook till it thickens. Add mozzarella cheese and processed cheese and mix.3. Add French beans, corn kernels, salt, castor sugar, chilli flakes, crushed peppercorns and mix. Add pineapple and apple, mix and cook for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and cool. Transfer in a bowl.4. Preheat oven to 180º C.5. Scoop out the center of each bun to make a well. 6. Fill each bun with the white sauce mixture, put some processed cheese and mozzarella cheese and sprinkle some chilli flakes on top.Place them on the baking tray.7. Put the tray into the preheated oven and bake for 5-10 minutes.8.
