Add soaked chana dal, curd, turmeric powder, salt, green chilies, ginger, and garlic. Blend the ingredients and prepare a thick batter.- Transfer the batter to a bowl. Add baking soda and water to it. Mix properly.- Grease a mold with oil. Drop the paste into it and level it up.- Heat water in a deep vessel. Place a stand in it. Put the mold over the stand and cover it with a lid. Steam it for some time and then check the batter with a toothpick. If it does not stick then it is cooked.- Heat oil in a saucepan, add mustard seeds, white sesame seeds, green chilies, and stir. Add sugar, lemon juice, and water. Boil it for a minute or two.- Transfer the cooked batter to a bowl and crumble it. Add chopped coriander and tempered ingredients to the khamni.
