Today I'm taking you on a journey to uncover the cuisine of Taiwan's tribes. First off its the Ami's in Eastern Taiwan. The largest Taiwanese tribe by number, the Ami's cuisine consists of wild vegetables and seafood. Today we're trying their famous bamboo hot pot cooked with rocks! After our time on the east coast we're heading deep into Taiwan's interior, the Central Mountain Range. Here we find the Tsou tribe. Living high up in Alishan Mountain the Tsou tribe have capitalized on Taiwan's booming coffee industry. Today we meet with The Prince of Coffee and learn about his practices. Finally we have a traditional Tsou BBQ together.
