Classic Dhokla tossed with flavourful tandoori masala results in an array of delicious flavours. TANDOORI DHOKLAIngredientsFreshly chopped coriander leaves for garnishDhokla2 cups gram flour (besan)½ tsp turmeric powderSalt to taste½ tsp ginger-green chilli paste1 cup yogurt1 tbsp oil1 tsp fruit saltTempering1 tbsp oil1 tsp mustard seeds7-8 curry leaves2 tbsps tandoori masala powderMethod1. In a bowl, add gram flour, turmeric powder, salt, ginger-green chilli paste, and yogurt. Add sufficient water and mix well to make a semi-thick batter. Add oil, fruit salt and mix well.2. Heat sufficient water in a steamer and grease a thali with oil, set aside. Add the prepared mixture in the thali and place it on the steamer. Steam for 10-12 minutes and set aside to cool slightly.3. Cut the prepared dhokla into cubes and set aside.4. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds, let them splutter. Add 7-8 curry leaves, tandoori masala powder and dhokla pieces. Toss well and cook for 30 seconds.5.
