Tandoori Macaroni With Tender Pops
Tandoori Masala Preparation:
Roasted cumin 2 tsp
Roasted coriander 2 tsp
Roasted Fennel seeds 1 tsp
Roasted Cinnamon 2 sticks (2 inch)
Roasted Green Cardamom 10-12
Roasted Black Cardamom 2
Cloves 1 tsp
Black peppercorn 1 tsp
Star Anise 1
Mace (2 inch) 2
Red Chili Powder 1 tbsp
Kashmiri Chili Powder 1 tbsp
Dried Fenugreek 1 tsp
Salt 1 tbsp
Tatri ½ tsp
Orange Food Color 1 tsp (optional)

Ingredients for Sautéed Vegetables:
Carrots (diced) 1/2 cup
Capsicum (diced) 1/2 cup
Sweet Corn 1/2 cup
Broccoli 1/2 cup
Tomatoes (diced) 1/2 cup
Oil 2 tbsp
Salt 1/4 tsp / to taste
Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp

Tandoori Macaroni Preparation:
K&N’s Tender Pops 780 g (as required)
Butter 2 tbsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Garlic (minced) 1 tbsp
All-purpose flour 1 tbsp
Milk 1 ½ cup
Tandoori Masala 1 tbsp
Ketchup 1/4 cup
Boiled Macaroni 2 cups
Sauteed Vegetables
Coal + Oil (for Smoke)
Parsley as required
Cream as required

Directions for Tandoori Masala Preparation:
1. In a grinder add roasted cumin, coriander, fennel seeds, green cardamom, black cardamom, cinnamon, black peppercorns, cloves, mace, star anise, salt, chili powder, kashmiri chili powder, dried fenugreek, tatri, and food color.
2. Grind again until fine powder has formed. Your tandoori masala is ready. Keep aside until used.
Directions for Saute Vegetables:
3. Now, in a frying pan, heat oil. Add carrots, capsicum, sweet corn, broccoli, tomatoes and saute for a minute over high flame. Sprinkle salt and black pepper and toss over high flame for another minute. Take off the flame and keep aside.
Directions for Tandoori Macaroni Preparation:
4. Dry K&N’s Tender Pops as per instructions on pack. Set aside.
5. Heat butter and oil in a pan. Saute garlic for a minute. Add flour, mix and cook for a minute on low heat.
6. Gradually add milk while stirring in continuously until no lumps remain. Keep cooking for 2-3 minutes.
7. Add tandoori masala and ketchup and cook for 2 minutes. Add boiled macaroni, sauteed vegetables. Give it a good mix.
8. Give it a coal smoke for a minute.
9. Dish out the tandoori macaroni and top with prepared K&N’s Tender Pops and garnish with cream and parsley.
10. Your Tandoori macaroni is ready. Serve hot and enjoy.
