Marinated Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 1 Hour: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
• Chicken (1+½kg)
• Ginger and garlic paste (2 tsp)
• Soy Sauce (2 tsp)
• Vinegar (2 tsp)
• Sugar (1 tsp)
• Vegetable Oil (½ cup)
• Onion (1-medium sized)
• Tomatoes (2-3 large size)
• Salt (1 tsp/ as per taste)
• Chili flakes (1 tsp)
• Red Chili Powder (1 tsp)
• Turmeric Powder (½ tsp)
• Yogurt (½ cup)
• Fresh crushed black pepper (½ tsp)
• Roasted/crushed cumin seeds (1 tsp)
• Green chilies (4-5)
• Ginger (chopped)
• Fresh chopped coriander leaves (4 tbsp)


Cooking Method:
Step 1: Take a bowl and put the chicken in it. Add ginger and garlic paste, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and mix it well. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Put a pan on flame and add vegetable oil, add marinated chicken in it and fry for 6-7 minutes until it turns golden brown.
Step 3: Take the chicken out in a bowl and put it aside.
Step 4: Add onion and tomatoes in the oil and cook for 2-3 minutes. Now, add salt, chili flakes, red chili powder, turmeric powder and stir it. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
Step 5: Now, add fried chicken and yogurt in it and cook it for 5 minutes.
Step 6: After 5 minutes, add fresh crushed black pepper, roasted/crushed cumin seeds, green chilies, ginger, fresh chopped coriander leaves and stir it.
Step 7: Let the pan cover with the lid and cook it for 10 minutes on low flame.
Step 8: After 10 minutes, turn the flame off and take the handi out of the pan in the serving dish.
Step 9: Tasty Chicken Ginger Handi is ready. Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves, green chilies, and ginger and enjoy!
