Tasty Sindhi Dal Makhni By Veena | India Food Network

Moong Dal is very popular amongst Sindhis. The Makhni Dal is a thicker version of the regular Moong Dal. In this video, Veena Gidwani takes us through an easy recipe on how to make Makhni Dal.

Ingredients:
1 cup yellow moong dal
1-inch piece ginger and 1 green chilli (finely chopped or ground)
¼ tsp. turmeric powder
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp. coriander powder
1/2 tsp. red chilli powder
1/2 tsp. Amchoor powder (mango)
2 to 3 tbsps. melted pure ghee or butter
