Tattu Chya Shengache Bhaji

Ingredients Quantity

Tattu 3-4 nos
Water as required
Turmeric powder 1 tsp + ½ tsp
Mustard oil 2-3 tbsp
Cumin seed 1 tsp
Baafli seed 2 nos
Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
Green chilli 3-4 nos
Onion slices 2 nos
Salt to taste
Dry mango powder 1 ½ tsp
Black pepper ½ tsp
Lemon juice ½ nos

Method :

1. Wash and rinse the Tattu veggie .
2. Now take the Tattu veggie and cut it into strips .
3. Now take a wok , add water allow it to boil .
4. Now add turmeric , Tattu veggie, water and bring a boil .
5. Now strain the Tattu veggie using strainer , transfer it in a cold water
6. Now transfer the blanched Tattu in a plate , keep it aside .
7. Heat a wok , add mustard oil , cumin seed , baafli seed allow it to splutter .
8. Now add ginger , garlic , green chilli and sauté it well for 30 seconds 9. Now add onion slice , mix it well , allow it to cook for 1 min .
10. Now add Tattu veggie , mix it thoroughly for 2 mins .
11. Now add salt , dry mango powder ,turmeric powder , black pepper , mix it well allow it to cook for 10 – 12 mins .
12. Now add lemon juice , toss it well .
13. Transfer it in a serving bowl .
14. Serve hot .
