Seeing Songkran in Thailand gives a great insight into Thai culture and traditions, and it's a lot of fun! It begins on April 13 every year (Thai New Year) and is celebrated all over Thailand. In some areas it lasts one day, in others it lasts up to 9 days. Everyone is in great spirits and out to enjoy themselves and have fun. Songkran is definitely one of the best things to do in Thailand everyone should do it at least once! I came for Songkran for the first time 4 years ago and Ive been to every one since. This was filmed in Ao Nang in Krabi Thailand on April 13 and 14, 2015. Parts were filmed while walking on the street, other bits from a tuk tuk and some from a motorbike.
