It's a place that people generally only pass through on their way to the islands like Koh Samui, but it's a very nice town and worth a look. The market is open every day from about 6am till 10am. It has heaps of Thai street food & Thai market food, as well as fresh food on offer. Youll find fried, barbecued & steamed foods, fish & seafood, salads, noodle & rice dishes, Thai desserts, cakes, ice cream, pancakes, freshly made fruit juices & heaps of other things too. Theres also clothes, watches, jewelry, sunglasses, kitchen equipment & lots of other stuff too. If you love Thai Street & Thai Market Food or shopping be sure to visit this market in Surat Thani. And there's another huge morning market right across the road from it.Between the two markets the choices of Thai food & Thai cuisine on offer are amazing. Thai street food is everywhere in Thailand, youll find it from Bangkok to Pattaya to Phuket & everywhere in between. Its cheap and it is really delicious! At markets like this all the food is cooked fresh, as they sell it. Street food is some of my favourite Thai cuisine, and there is so much variety of street food in Thailand!Thai Street Food is a must to try if youre on holidays in Thailand.
