Som Tam Tad (aka Tum Taad) is a traditional Isaan food, which is basically a som tum (aka som tam) platter. Som tum is a papaya salad made with grated papaya, assorted vegetables and sauces. It is usually eaten on its own or with other dishes such as sticky rice and barbecued chicken. When its served as tam tad, the som tam is placed in the center of a platter and a number of side dishes are placed around it.This is a meal my family and I had recently at Tum Taad Thai Restaurant in Krabi Town Thailand. The meal of Thai food we had in the video was 330 baht. The restaurant is clean and comfortable, they offer a wide range of delicious Thai food and the staff are very friendly. Id definitely recommend visiting the Tam Taad Restaurant if youre travelling to Krabi Thailand.
