Thandai Smoothie

The Thandai smoothie is a fruit-less smoothie with a rich and festive feel. Since the Thandai syrup is based mainly on spices, this smoothie is generally liked more by adults than kids.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes.
Cooking Time: Nil
Makes 2 big glasses.

½ cup thandai syrup
½ cup chilled fresh curds (dahi) mixed with ½ chilled full-fat milk
4 tbsp vanilla ice-cream
½ cup ice-cubes

For the garnish
2 almonds (badam)

1. Combine the curds-milk mixture, Thandai syrup, vanilla ice-cream and ice-cubes and blend in a juicer till the mixture is smooth and frothy.
2. Pour equal quantities of the smoothie into 2 individual glasses.
Serve immediately garnished with an almond on the rim of each glass.
