The Cook for Change Challenge, a cooking competition for differently abled adults above the age of 16 was held on Sept 25th 2016. Nine teams with individuals from adult sheltered workshops, special schools with vocational set-ups and employment initiatives participated in the event. The competition gave our participants a once in a lifetime opportunity to cook for India’s most loved chef and judge of the event - Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. As part of the prize, our winners went on to receive further training in Chef Sanjeev Kapoor's professional kitchen and the opportunity to cook along with him at The Yellow Chilli kitchen, Dadar. The mission of Veruschka Foundation is to champion events such as the Cook for Change Challenge and provide a platform for the winners of these competitions to secure training or apprenticeships in their chosen fields.
