The Good Dinosaur Canelita Cookies - La Cooquette

Canelitas are yummy Hispanic cinnamon cookies and I’m just TOO excited for Disney Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur that I made them look like Arlo’s feet!--------Ingredients below!

INGREDIENTS
-1/2 cup (1 stick) of room temperature butter
-1/2 cup of brown sugar
-1/4 cup of regular sugar
-1 egg
-1 tsp. of vanilla extract
-2 cups of flour
-1 tsp. of baking powder
-3 tsps. of powdered cinnamon
-colorante verde (¡o puedes mezclar amarillo y azul!)

For the “canelitas” magical mix:
-3 tbsps. sugar
-1 tbsp. of powdered cinnamon

You will also need:
-parchment paper + plastic wrap + reseleable plastic bag
-a glass or lid to press the cookies
