Tiranga DhoklaTiranga Dhokla is a three colour delightful steamed Gujarati snack which can be served in any occasion.IngredientsSuji - 1.5 CupCurd - 1 CupSpinach leaves - 5-6Oil - 3 TbspTomato - 1 Ginger paste - 1 tspDry red chili - 1Sugar - 2 TspCurry leaves - 8-10Mint leaves - 8-10Green chili - 4-5Fresh coriander Leaves finely chopped - 2 TbspBaking soda - 1 TspLemon - 1Tomato Ketchup - 1 TbspSalt - 2 tsp A pinch of Hing powderSalt - 2 tspRye - 1 tspMethod:Step 1* Take a bowl add curd and beat it.* Add Ginger paste, salt, hing powder, sugar and mix well. * Now add suji little by little and mix well.* Keep aside this batter to rest for 20 mins.Step 2 * For making green base.* Take a grinder add spinach leaves, coriander leaves, mint leaves and one green chili.* Make a smooth paste by adding little water.* Keep aside.Step 3* For making orange base.* Take a grinder add red dry chili, little water, tomato and tomato ketchup.* Make a smooth paste.* Keep aside.Step 4* Now mix well the suji batter and mix well.* Add 1 Tbsp oil, lemon juice and mix well.* Divide this batter into 3 parts.* One part add into green base.* Second part into orange base.* Third part is plain white batter.Step 5* Take a tin or thali grease it with little oil.* Put some water in a pan or kadai and keep stand in it and bring to a boil.* Keep your water n tin ready.Step 6* First take green base and add baking soda and mix vigorously.* Transfer into tin for steaming.* Steam this for 5 mins.Step 7* Take white base and add baking soda and mix vigorously.* Transfer into tin on green base and level it.* Steam again for 5 Mins.Step 8* Take Orange base add baking soda and mix vigorously.* Transfer into tin on white base and level it.* Now steam the whole Tiranga dhokla for 15 - 20 mins.Step 9* For Tempering* Take a pan add little oil.* Add rye, curry leaves, green chilies, coriander leaves and mix well.* Add little water to it.* Now add salt and sugar.* Mix well for 2 mins.* Close the flame and keep aside to cool.Step 10* Now your Tiranga Dhokla is steamed let it cool completely.* Transfer it to a plate upside down and cut into square pieces.* Add tempering on it.* Now your Tiranga Dhokla is ready to serve. enjoy.
