Ingredients
Carrot - 1 Kg grated
Sugar - 100 grams
Green Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Desi Ghee - 2 Tbsp
Khoya also known as Mawa - 200 grams


Method:
Take a pan, add 1 glass of milk.
Add grated carrot.
Cook with closed lid for 10 mins.
Add sugar and mix well.
Cook for 5-7 mins more and reduce the moisture completely.
There should be no liquid at this stage.
When all the liquid gets evaporated, add cardamom powder and desi ghee.
Mix well and cook for 2-3 mins more.
Close the flame and add Khoya and chopped almonds.
Gajar ka Halwa is ready to serve hot.
Serve hot with garnished almonds and little khoya on it.
