Manakish is a popular Lebanese breakfast flatbread spiced with zaatar This is quite similar to Indian Naan bread and can be eaten with kebabs or any dip or curries of your choice. As you see it is so easy to make yet so tasty to eat, you can easily make it at your home. If you like the recipe do not forget to write in the comment section below.
Ingredients for preparing the yeast
1 tsp Yeast
1 tsp Sugar
cup lukewarm water
Method
Add one tea spoon yeast, one tea spoon sugar with lukewarm water & mix well
Cover the bowl with cling film and keep aside for 15 minutes

Ingredients for the dough
1 cup all-purpose flour
Salt
Yeast water
Method
In a bowl take the flour, salt and knead with yeast water little by little & mix well
Knead the dough well
Place the dough in the bowl and tap the dough with little olive oil
Cover the bowl & keep the dough in a warm place
Take out the air out of the dough
Make equal portions of the dough and make balls & roll out the breads
In between in a bowl take 2 tea spoon of black sesame seeds & 2 tea spoon of white sesame seeds and mix well with 3to 4 table spoon of olive oil
Spread the sesame mix, Zaatar, on the breads & on one bread sprinkle grated cheese & sprinkle some red chilli flakes after baking
The breads to be baked in a pre-heated oven @180 degrees for 15 minutes
