Turkish Dessert From The Land Of Whirling Dervishes: Konya Hshmerim.Konya area is one of the most ancient settlements of Anatolia. It was also the capital of the Seljuk Empire. The first place to visit in Konya is Mevlana's Mausoleum, the mystic poet on the way of Sufism and the founder of the Whirling Dervish Order. If I go there again, I will surely share more information about all this but, of course, one of the main reasons to be there was to learn more local cuisine recipes and "Konya Hmerim" was of them.It is similar to flour halva "un helvas" but, the kaymak elevates the taste and makes it even more rich and silky.Ingredients For Hoshmerim (Hmerim)2/3 cup sugar1 cup flour1+1/2 cup milk100gr. kaymak (clotted cream or thick heavy cream can be tried)50gr. butterHere is the kaymak (clotted cream) recipe: https://youtu.be/jJv83inCxE4Similar Halva recipe from semolina: https://youtu.be/jzBCnz1rnh8Sambali Dessert: https://youtu.be/GN-mZ355mhoTrileche: https://youtu.be/k4vwe8IWNeMThank you for supporting me with a cup of coffee or buying me a ticket: https://www.patreon.com/turkishfoodtravelSUBSCRIBE https://bit.ly/3iirrRCFOLLOW ME FROM INSTAGRAM http://instagram.com/turkishfoodtravelMY WEBSITE http://www.turkishfoodtravel.com Facebook: https://fb.me/turkishfoodtravel Don't forget to subscribe and press the notification button: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwVIj-OqEjXNqKpItChRrMQ?sub_confirmation=1
