Turkish Dessert From The Land Of Whirling Dervishes: Konya Hshmerim

Turkish Dessert From The Land Of Whirling Dervishes: Konya Hshmerim.
Konya area is one of the most ancient settlements of Anatolia. It was also the capital of the Seljuk Empire. The first place to visit in Konya is Mevlana's Mausoleum, the mystic poet on the way of Sufism and the founder of the Whirling Dervish Order.
If I go there again, I will surely share more information about all this but, of course, one of the main reasons to be there was to learn more local cuisine recipes and "Konya Hmerim" was of them.
It is similar to flour halva "un helvas" but, the kaymak elevates the taste and makes it even more rich and silky.
Ingredients For Hoshmerim (Hmerim)
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1+1/2 cup milk
100gr. kaymak (clotted cream or thick heavy cream can be tried)
50gr. butter
