Bazlama - Turkish Bread

A Turkish flatbread Bazlama is generally referred to as a village bread because of the simple ingredients needed to make this. This is quite similar to our Naan bread and can be eaten with kebabs or any dip or curries of your choice. As you see it is so easy to make yet so tasty to eat, you can easily make it at your home. Ingredients for preparing the yeast-
- 1 tsp Yeast
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Lukewarm water

Method-
- Add one teaspoon of yeast, and one teaspoon of sugar with lukewarm water & mix well
- Cover the bowl with cling film and keep aside for 15 minutes

Ingredients for the dough-
-All-purpose flour
-Salt
-Yeast water

Method-
- In a bowl take the flour, and salt and knead with yeast water little by little & mix well
- Knead the dough well
- Place the dough in the bowl and tap the dough with little olive oil
- Cover the bowl & keep the dough in a warm place
- Take the air out of the dough
- Make equal portions of the dough and make balls & roll out the bread
Spice mix
- Make a solution with 4 Tablespoons of melted butter, 2 teaspoons of chili - flakes, and chopped parsley
- Final Step
- On a Tawa toast the rolled-out bread on both sides
- Brush the cooked bread with the spice mix and serve hot
