Easy and tasty recipe, different from normal vazhakkai / raw banana roast. Simple method to make tasty roast in minutes. Ingredients and tips given below.

Ingredients:
1. Raw banana / Plantain / Vazhakai - 1

To be ground into paste:
2. Onion, small - 1
3. Green chilli - 1
4. Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
5. Grated coconut - 2 tsp
6. Curry leaves - 1 tbsp
7. Ginger - 1 inch piece
8. Garlic - 6 cloves
9. Kuzhambu chilli powder (sambhar chilli powder) - 3 tsp
10. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
11. Salt - to taste

12. Oil for frying (groundnut oil is best) - 2 tbsp

Tips:
1. Use groundnut oil for a healthy version of this recipe
2. You could add more oil as per your requirement
3. Do not cook the raw banana fully before frying, otherwise it would become mushy and soft.
4. Cutting the raw banana into cubes gives a crispy crust and a soft center.
