Veg Dum Biryani is one of the tastiest of Biryanis. If you decide to make it, let me assure you that it will taste awesome. It is worth the effort. I have shown in this video how to make Veg Biryani at home with ingredients found in your kitchen. Given below are the ingredients of this Veg Biryani recipe.

Ingredients:
(In the order of instructions)
21/2 litres Water
1/2 tsp Shahjeera
2 Bay leaves
1 Star Anise
2 Cinnamon sticks
4 Cardamoms
5 Cloves
Salt to taste
1 tbsp Oil
Juice of 1 Lemon
500 gms washed and soaked Rice
4 Onions to make Birista
3 cubed Potatoes
1 cup Cauliflower
1 Carrot
200 gms Paneer
1/2 cup Green Peas
1/2 cup Beans
2 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
1 tsp Cumin
3 tsp Kashmiri Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
2 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Garam masala
1 tsp Biryani masala
Mint leaves
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste
1/2 cup Curd
4 tbsp Oil
2 Tomatoes
4 tsp Ghee
2 tbsp Orange Food Colour
Charcoal (Optional)
1 tsp Oil
