Kunafa Roll Ups
Ingredients for dough:
All-purpose flour 1cup
Water as required
Corn flour 1/2 cup
Salt 1/2 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Ingredients for sugar syrup:
Sugar 2 cups
Water 1 cup
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Ingredients for filling:
Cottage cheese as required
Pistachio (chopped) as required
Directions for dough:
In a blender add flour, corn flour, salt, oil and water as required.
Blend until you get a smooth medium consistency paste. Pour the mixture in a piping bag and cut a small hole.
Heat a pan; once pan is heated start making rounds with piping bag on it, on low flame.
Just cook it for few seconds and remove from pan. Repeat the process until you get desired amount of dough rings to make roll ups.
When your dough is ready, spread the rings on your board and add cottage cheese on top.
Roll it down finely giving it a small roll like shape and bind it with water.
Put these roll ups on your greased baking tray and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes until light golden brown.
Remove from oven and cool them on room temperature.
Directions for syrup:
In a pan add sugar, water, lemon juice and cardamom powder.
Cook for about 10 minutes on medium flame until it gets thicker. Take it off.
Assembling:
Drizzle the prepared sugar syrup over baked kunafa roll up.
Sprinkle pistachios on top and serve tasty kunafa roll ups.

Preparation time: 10-15 minutes
Cooking time: 25-30 minutes
Serving: 4-5
