Vermicelli Upma

Ingredients :-

Oil - 3-4 Tbsp.
Vermicelli - 2 cups
Oil - ½ Tbsp.
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp.
Raw Peanuts - ¼ Cup
Curry Leaves - 15-20
Green Chilli Chopped - 3
Onions Chopped - 2 small
Tomatoes Chopped – 2
Salt to Taste
Turmeric powder - ½ Tsp
Red Chilli powder - ½ Tsp
Green Peas - ¼ Cup
Coriander chopped
for garnish

Method:-

1. In a pan heat oil add vermicelli and sauté till lightly brown. Remove it in a bowl and keep aside.

2. In another pan heat oil, add mustard seeds, raw peanuts and sauté for 1-2 mins

3. Add curry leaves, chopped green chillis, chopped onion and sauté till onions are translucent.

4. Add tomatoes, salt , red chilli powder, turmeric powder, green pease and sauté for 4-5 mins

5. Add water and bring to boil. Add vermicelli and cook till water is completely dry.

6. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate.

7. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot
