Green Rice Recipe
1 cups rice, cooked
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
teaspoon minced garlic
3 tablespoons olive oil or butter
cup ground or finely chopped
parsley
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Saut chopped onion and minced garlic in olive oil or butter. Measure cooked rice and ground parsley into a mixing bowl; then add milk, salt, Worcestershire sauce, cheddar cheese, and slightly beaten eggs.
Add sauteed onion and garlic; mix thoroughly and pour mixture into buttered baking dish. Bake in a moderate oven (350) for about 40 minutes.
Serves 6.
