Sri Lanka travels, part 5 of 7 of my tasty travel vlogs. In this episode we climbed what is known as the eighth wonder of the world, Sigiriya or the lion rock. There are still many mysteries surrounding this archaeological fortress, in which a palace was constructed on top two hundred metres high. The complex features remnants of a ruined palace, world's oldest landscapes gardens, ponds, canals, alleys and fountains. The entrance was designed in the form of a huge stone lion whose claws have survived, however the body was destroyed. One of the most visited sites by tourists in Sri Lanka.
