What Two Weeks Of Eating Cooked Food Did To me

For the past two weeks I've been eating 80% of my calories from cooked food, a big change from the raw food diet I've been embracing for more than 8 years.

I originally switched to a fruit-and-greens based diet to escape the intestinal disease colitis, which was ruining my life. I decided to try out a return to a cooked diet that was, while still low fat, based on whole foods, and vegan, included a lot of grains, tubers, and legumes.

During the first week I ate potatoes, sweet potatoes, squashes, and steamed greens. During the second, I added in grains such as rice, corn, oatmeal, and quinoa, as well as beans like chickpeas and kidney beans.

In this video I talk about what the result was, how the diet shift affected me, what happened with my colitis and digestive health, how acne and skin health played in, and much more.
