White Mutton Korma Recipe

Ingredients for Almond & cashew nuts Paste:
Almonds (soaked) 1/2 cup
Cashew nuts 1/2 cup
Water 2-3 tbsp

Ingredients for Mutton White Korma:
Oil 1 cup
Onion (Sliced) 1 cup
Mutton 1 kg
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Water 4 cups
Almond paste 1/3 cup
Yogurt 1 cup
White pepper powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Ginger (julienne) for garnishing
Green chilies (slit) for garnishing

Directions for Almond Paste Preparation:
1. In a pan blender add almonds, cashew nuts, water and blend well into smooth paste. Set aside.
Directions for Mutton White Korma:
2. In a bowl pot heat oil and onion. Cook until translucent.
3. Add mutton and ginger garlic paste and cook until mutton changes color.
4. Now add water and cover and cook for 40 minutes or until meat is 80% done.
5. Now add white pepper powder, black pepper powder, salt and cook for 5 minutes.
6. Add yogurt and cook for 3-4 minutes. Now add almond paste and cook until oil separates.
7. Garnish with ginger and green chilies. Your White Mutton Korma is ready.

Cooking time: 1 hour
