Xero Hiking Boots Review: Xero Minimalist Boots Make Great Snow Boots

In Michigan, testing my product review sample from Xero was going to be a little tough. My husband and I decided to go on a five-mile hike in the snow on a 10 day. I was really nervous that the boots wouldn't be warm enough for me, because I'm pretty wimpy when it comes to cold feet!

I wore two pairs of socks, one of them wool, and I actually kept getting too hot and taking off my hat! Even though we had to step off the path to let fat tire bikers go by a number of times, my feet never got wet, so for snow, water-resistant is good enough.

I said after that day that the boots felt like a warm hug, and I'm also struck by the fact that I didn't really have to break them in, so to speak. A win!
