Yam Mee Teochew Fishball Noodles - 25-Year-Old NUS Graduate Who Runs A Hawker Stall

While many of her fellow NUS graduates are working at a comfy air-conditioned office, Anthea Tan is busy hustling at a hawker stall with her dad. Even though the 25-year-old often gets questions on why she's "wasting" her degree, she knows that this is something she wants to do, and is happy doing. The next time you drop by Yishun Park Hawker Centre, check out Anthea's stall, Yam Mee Teochew Fishball Noodles, and get a bowl of fishball mee or laksa to show your support!

Anthea is one of the chosen hawkers from the Tiger Beer Tiger Street Food Support Fund 2017, and she proves that our hawker industry can live on with our support and the hawkers' undying passion.
