Yummy EDAMAME your kids will love/Easy to make

Edamame is practically a staple at Japanese restaurants and is becoming more and more common in our own homes.

The Japanese translation is "beans on branches".

If you can, look for Edamame that says "organic" or "non-gmo" on the label.

Edamame are packed with protein and fiber. It also has 9 amino acids including Vitamin C.

Add it to salads, quinoas, couscous or rice. Make hummus or pestos. These magic beans can go just about anywhere. Kyler's favorite way of eating edamame is with a splash of soy sauce, squeeze of lemon and a pinch of sea salt.

Edamame... makes a great snack!

1 lb. frozen edamame
2 table spoons soy sauce
generous squeeze of lemon
kosher salt

Drop edamame pods in boiling salted water for about 3-5 minutes. strain and run under cold water or put in ice water to stop the cooking process.
