1. Cook rice medley as per package directions until just done. 2. About 30 minutes. 3. Do not drain. 4. In a large soup pot, on medium heat, melt butter with oil. 5. Add carrot/onion and saute until onion is tender. 6. Add garlic and saute until just fragrant. 7. Add broccoli and also saute for 5 minutes. 8. Add stock and rice with liquid. 9. Simmer for 20 minutes. 10. Season with salt and pepper to taste. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
