1906 Morning Glory Cocktail From Louis’ Mixed Drinks - Cocktails After Dark
Today we're going to do a cocktail out of this gorgeous 1906 pre-prohibition cocktail book called Louis' Mixed Drinks. This is a fabulous cocktail recipe guide, with many common and uncommon cocktail recipes. Classic cocktail recipes are also in here some done in a slightly different way than we would make cocktails at home today.
So if you are just starting out on your road to being an educated barfly, and learning how to drink, follow along with cocktails after dark.

Morning Glory Cocktail:
Take two dashes of orange bitters,
One dash of Angostura bitters,
One dash of Maraschino,
Two liqueur-glasses of Bourbon whiskey, and
One liqueur glass of French brandy.

Fill the mixing glass with ice; stir well and strain into a cocktail glass.
When ready serve with a dash of absinthe.
