Leek has a mild onion flavour and it can be the substitute for the spring onioni / scallions. They are good source of vitamins A, C & K. It also a good source of dietary fibre.

Today, I used leeks to make four different chinese dish. They are:
Leek Omelette, Leek pancake, fry fish with leek sauce and stir fry tofu with leek.

Ingredients:
Leek Omelette:
2 eggs
Leek
A little bit of salt if you wish.

Stir fry firm tofu with Leek:
Firm tofu
Shiitake Mushroom
Black fungus
Leek
Light soy sauce
vegetarian oyster sauce
Salt

Fry Fish with leek sauce:
A whole fish
Leek
Chilli
ginger
garlic
Little bit of Sugar
light soy sauce
Corn flour water

Leeks Pancake:
200 all purpose flour
60g hot water
60g room temperature water
Salt & Pepper
Leek
Oil (to brush the dough and pan).
