Hi Guys, Here are four of my favourite toast and breakfast recipes, using butter and bread! Try them out and let me know what you think! RECIPES START AT 5:23 (See im getting better!!)This Video was brought to you by Anchor Butter. For the bread, whether it's the rye or the sour dough, always start by slicing it thick, at least 1 1/2 to 2 inches. Then in a skillet melt 3 tsp of Anchor Butter, slowly, add in 2 cloves of crushed garlic, a small pinch of salt. Start the bread on one side until it gets nice and toasted. Flip. and you're good to go with the other toppings. For extra savoury flavour, go ahead and lather an additional 1/2 tsp of salted butter in the hot toast. PIZZA BREAD1 minced white onion2 pitted tomatoes4 portobello mushrooms1 tbsp olive oil2 cloves of crushed garlic300 grams, whole peeled canned tomatoes (or fresh poached and skinned)salt and pepper to taste3 tbsp balsamic vinegar1 tsp sugar6 basil leaves1/2 cup grated mozarellabasil leaves to dressButtered garlic Toast (see above)1. fry off the onions, mushrooms and fresh tomatoes with some olive oil in a medium heat skilled. 5 mins later, add in your garlic, balsamic vinegar and sugar, cook for 2 mins. Add your canned tomatoes, salt and pepper and basil leaves. Let stew along slowly for about 10 mins, until it thickens. 2. Spread a thick layer of your tomato sauce on the hot buttered toast. Top with basil and mozzarella. Toast the top. ONION JAM TOAST4 Large white onions sliced2 tbsp of olive oilButtered garlic Toast (see above)salt to taste1. In a large skilled, heat up your olive oil on a low heat, add in the sliced white onions. stir every 2mins. cover and repeat stirring, until you get a nice soft sweet brown mess. 2. smear as much as you can on your toast. this should keep for 2 weeks in the fridge easy. AVOCADO TOAST1/2 avocado cubed upsalt and pepper to tasteButtered garlic Toast (see above)slices of radish to garnishlemon juice option to dressTop the toast with the avocado, season, add radishes. FRENCH TOAST3 eggs1/2 tsp cinnamon powder3 drops of vanilla essence1/4 cup flour1 cup of milk1 tbsp Anchor Butter2 thick pieces of sourdoughHoney and butter to dressAny fruit as a topping1. Mix the eggs, cinnamon and vanilla. 2. Add in the flour and milk. Froth up. Marinate the bread and leave at least 30mins or until its almost falling apart.3. Heat up your butter in a heavy skillet. start your bread on one side. cook for 4 mins. flip cook for another 4mins. 4.
