Aaron's China Guide E73 - 煲仔饭 - Claypot rice | Aaron Sawich

More delicious Cantonese food coming at you this Aaron's China Guide. Bao zai fan 煲仔饭 or claypot rice is cooked in a clay pot so the rice gets crispy on the surface. Then soya sauce is poured over it, and whatever meat you choose. This is one of my favorite things to eat for lunch in China. This dish is quite common and can be found in most Hong Kong style restaurants 茶餐厅. Bao zai 煲仔 refers to the claypot itself, and fan 饭 means rice. Please enjoy my Chinese food eating video about clay pot rice.
