ALOO POPS - (Serves - 4)Ingredients3 medium potatoes (aloo), boiled and peeled2 fresh jalapenos, finely choppedSalt to tasteCrushed black peppercorns to taste50 grams red cheddar, cut into small cubesOil for deep-frying1 egg¼ cup cornflour½ cup panko breadcrumbsFruit beer for servingMethod1. Take potatoes in a shallow plate and mash. Add jalapenos, salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well.2. Divide the mixture into equal portions. Take each portion, flatten them, place 1-2 cheese cubes in the center and shape into balls.3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. 4. Beat an egg in a shallow plate. Take cornflour on a plate and spread breadcrumbs in a bowl.5. Coat each potato ball with cornflour, dip in egg and coat with breadcrumbs.6. Deep-fry the balls in hot oil till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.7.
