Homemade apple sauce is so easy to make. It's so much better than store bought. It's just apples, cinnamon, brown sugar and apple juice.

Use sweet apples like yellow delicious, fuji, or gala to name a few but stay away from red delicious. They are not as good and can be a bit mealy.

If you use the tart apples like Granny smith, or pippin or gravenstein, you will have to add quite a bit more sugar to get it sweet enough.

Cook this over the stove for about 20 minutes and mash. That's it. By the way, I like to use organic apples for a healthier applesauce.

Kind Regards,
Rockin Robin
