Baked Sweet Potato Coins DADS THAT COOK

Sweet potato coins are a great way to mix up how you bake your potatoes. Super simple and great flavor from the extra spices too. Plus cutting them up into coins cooks them a lot faster, so if you are in a hurry for dinner it's a no brainer!

Okay, so now we're gonna make the sweet potato coins, whatever you call them. What do you call them?

Sweet potato coins, sure.

Sweet potato coins.

Yeah. It's not really gonna cook that much. I like it a little bit diced.

Finer.

Yeah. Here I'm just gonna pop half the medallions in. Woops. There we go.

You can smell that sage. We're happy.

Little guys here.

Oh, look at that guy, huh. It's almost like a chiropractor button.

That's right. I use about half because that's what we have here.

Right.

There we go. That's nice and coated. And then I just lay them out here.

Man, this is a party. Happy day at the Hall House.

And so, this is going to go in the oven. 15 minutes. We're gonna be watching it. 375? Yeah. 400?

The sweet potatoes look perfect. You get a little bit of the browning. The butter's starting to brown, caramelize a little bit. It's gonna get flipped over.

All right. Well thank you for having us. I really do appreciate it. Thank you so much. This was phenomenal. Ah, and it's healthy. All of your food is just healthy, everything, even the ice cream's healthy. You're crazy. Crazy. This is excellent. So what do you think? Think your dad can cook?

Yep.

Yeah. You like his stuff? Mm-hmm.

Yeah. That's probably why you keep him around, right?

Yeah. One of the reasons.

Jason Glover is the original Dad That Cooks and owns and operates Splash Digital Media. As a Dad and the primary cook for his family, he conceived DTC through his experiences and by talking with other Dads. When fellow Dads shared with Jason theyd love to learn from his own first-hand kitchen experiences, the idea for DTC was born. As the idea continued to keep him up at night he thought, why not leverage his film and video production and comedy background with his love of cooking for his family to become the host of DTC.

Ryan Seacrest move over introducing Jason Glover as the host of Dads That Cook.
