Ingredients:
2 cups flour
tsp baking soda
cup melted ghee
cup yogurt
Water as required
Salt a pinch

Sugar syrup:
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 tsp cardamom powder
Saffron few stands
Direction:
- In a bowl add flour, baking powder, salt, melted ghee and yogurt. Mix it well together.
- Add water if required.
- Mix it well but dont knead the dough.
- Cover with cling wrap and leave for 10-15 minutes.
Sugar Syrup:
- Add sugar and water in a pan and stir continuously on medium flame and bring it to boil and cook for 5-6 minutes. Keep it aside.
- Now roll the dough in cylindrical shape. Cut into equal parts.
- Take on portion and roll it in a ball, press lightly with a finger.
- Heat the oil on very low flame.
- Fry balushahi on low flame.
- When turn golden from one side. Turn the side and let it turn golden as well.
- Take it out from the oil and dip it in a sugar syrup for 2 minutes each side.
- Garnish with pistachio and serve.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
