Easy & Quick Dessert Recipe - BBQ Pears by Jason Glover on Dads That Cook. These only take a few minutes to prep and are super tasty!
Put them on 15 minutes before you finish eating dinner and your dessert will be ready to enjoy!

So, now you're thinking, "Oh, what am I going to do for grilling? What am I doing on dessert?" Well I got an awesome, simple recipe for you with pears. You can use any kind of pear, really, but I like the Bartlett pears.

I've already rinsed them. I'm going to cut it in half, okay? Go inside. I'm going to cut out the seed stuff. Simple and easy. Boom, just like that. We're going to take the top off like that, because we don't need that.

So I just get a little brown sugar. You want dark brown sugar. Just coat that sucker up like that. A little brown sugar, okay? And you sprinkle a bunch of cinnamon on it.

So close them up like that. We take our tin foil, we're going to set that right here. And you got this. We're going to wrap this bad boy up, okay? Don't flip them up top, because then all the juice will fly out of it. You want to keep them sideways, because it'll boil inside there, which will be perfect. So dark brown sugar, start sprinkling that stuff on. In the foil. Just like so.

So I've got my temperature about 375, and I'm just going to put them on the top rack up here, like we did with the artichokes, and we're going to let those hang out for about 15, 20 minutes.

While we're inside heating up all of our food, we still got our pears cooking. That's happening. We'll have dessert after we're done. Look at that. Holy moly. Let me grab a little vanilla bean, something like that. Throw that in there. All the sugar, the glazing with the cinnamon. Watch out, it's hot. All right, so that's it.
