FULL RECIPE FOR BECHAMEL SAUCEIngredients:50 g butter1/4 cup olive oil5 tbsp flour3.5 cups milk1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp ground black pepperDirections:Melt the 50g of butter in a pan and combine it with 1/4 cup of olive oilAdd the 5 tbsp of flour into the butter-oil mixture and stir for 2-3 minutes, until the mixture starts bubbling and smells butteryThen, add 3.5 cups of cold milk, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tsp of ground black pepper(!) You can alternate the consistency by reducing or increasing the milk content(!)After adding the milk, make sure that the mixture has no lumps. Whisk quickly and continuously to achieve a smooth and creamy sauceWhisk the Bechamel sauce continuously while it cooks.
