BECHAMEL SAUCE : WHITE, BUTTERY, AND CREAMY SAUCE

FULL RECIPE FOR BECHAMEL SAUCE
Ingredients:
50 g butter
1/4 cup olive oil
5 tbsp flour
3.5 cups milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Directions:
Melt the 50g of butter in a pan and combine it with 1/4 cup of olive oil
Add the 5 tbsp of flour into the butter-oil mixture and stir for 2-3 minutes, until the mixture starts bubbling and smells buttery
Then, add 3.5 cups of cold milk, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tsp of ground black pepper

(!) You can alternate the consistency by reducing or increasing the milk content
(!)After adding the milk, make sure that the mixture has no lumps.

Whisk quickly and continuously to achieve a smooth and creamy sauce
Whisk the Bechamel sauce continuously while it cooks.
Once it starts boiling, cook for 1 more minute, then turn off the stove

The Bechamel Sauce ready to use!
