Achar Gosht Recipe in English:

Ingredients for Achari Masala Paste:
Fennel seeds 2 tbsp
Nigella seeds 1 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds 2 tbsp
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 2 tbsp

Ingredients for Achari Masala Filling:
Ground achari masala 1 cup
lemon juice 1/3 cup

Ingredients for Stuffed green chilies:
Prepared achari filling as required
Green chilies (deseeded) 6-8

Ingredients for Achar Gosht:
Oil 1/2 cup
Onion (sliced) 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 ½ tbsp
Beef 1 kg
Achari masala 3 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Salt 2 tsp / to taste
Yogurt 1 cup
Tomato puree 1 cup
Water 3 cups

Directions for Achari Masala Preparation:
1. In a grinder add fennel seeds, nigella seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, red chili flakes, mustard seeds, garam masala powder, salt, turmeric powder, red chili flakes, coriander powder and grind well into fine powder. Your achari masala is ready.
2. Now in a bowl add 1 cup achari masala and lemon juice. Mix well and your achari masala filling is ready. Set aside.
Directions for Stuffed Green Chilies Preparation:
3. Take green chilies and deseed them. Fill them achari masala filling and set aside. Your stuffed green chilies are ready.
Directions for Achar Gosht Preparation:
4. In a pan heat oil and add onion, cook until translucent.
5. Now add beef, ginger garlic paste and cook until beef changes color.
6. Add achari masala, red chili powder, salt and cook for 2 minutes.
7. Now add tomato puree and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add water and cover and cook until meat gets tender.
8. Add yogurt and cook until oil separates. Now add stuffed green chilies and cover and cook over low flame for 10 minutes.
9. Your Achar Gosht is ready.
