Beef Negimaki (Teriyaki Steak Rolls with Scallions) (Recipe) OCHIKERON Create Eat Happy

You can use pork instead
Green onions are very crisp and tasty with beef.

Beef Negimaki (Teriyaki Steak Rolls with Scallions)

Difficulty: Easy
Time: 10min
Number of servings: 2

Ingredients:
5 (240g) thin slices of beef
1 bunch (100g) scallions
2 tbsp. Mirin (sweet Sake)
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 tbsp. flour
toasted white sesame seeds

Directions:
1. Cut scallions into 3 inch-long pieces.
2. Place the slice of beef so that the length of it is running flat and vertically towards you. Place scallions on the end of the beef close to you and start rolling. Dust with flour.
3. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan, place the rolls seam side down, cover, and steam on low heat for about 2 minutes. Then flip, cover, and cook the rolls for another 2 minutes.
4. Uncover, add Mirin and soy sauce mixture, then turn to make sure all sides are cooked equally.
5. Cut and sprinkle with toasted white sesame seeds.
