Ingredients

For Chole
• Chickpea (chole) – 1 ½ cup
• Baking soda – 1/3 tsp
• Bay leaves – 2
• Salt – ½ tsp
• Moti elaichi – 3
• Cinnamon stick – 1
• Tea bag – 1
• Jeera powder – ½ tsp

For Bhature
• Maida – 400 gms
• Yogurt – ½ cup
• Salt – ½ tsp
• Sugar – 2 tsp
• Baking powder – ½ tsp
• Baking soda – ½ tsp
• Oil – 2 tbs

Chole Masala
• Anar dana powder – 1 ½ tsp
• Dhaniya powder – 1 ¼ tsp
• Kashmiri red chilli – ¾ tsp
• Jeera powder – ½ tsp
• Chaat masala – ¾ tsp
• Kala namak – ½ tsp
• Salt – ¼ tsp

Chole Tempering
• Oil – 3 tbs
• Jeera – 1 tsp
• Onions (chopped) – 2
• Ginger (chopped) – 2 tsp
• Garlic (chopped) – ½ tsp
• Chopped tomatoes – 2
• Kasoori methi – 1 tsp
