Big Japanese Mackerel / Tuna Sandwiches (Recipe) SABA OCHIKERON Create Eat Happy :)

Not Sponsored. I happened to buy canned SABA (Japanese Mackerel), so decided to make sandwiches. You can use Tuna instead of course!

Big SABA Japanese Mackerel Sandwiches

Difficulty: Easy
Time: 30min
Number of servings: 2 servings

Ingredients
190g (6.7oz.) canned mackerel or tuna https://amzn.to/3H3EENE
100g (3.5oz.) onion
2 tbsp. mayonnaise
4 tbsp. plain unflavored yogurt
salt and pepper
4 slices of bread

Directions:
1. Put yogurt in a bowl lined with paper towel and leave for 10 minutes to drain well.
2. Finely chop the onion, sprinkle with salt and leave for 5 minutes. Rinse then drain well.
3. Drain canned mackerel, add the chopped onion, and mix well.
4. Add the yogurt, mayonnaise, salt and pepper, and mix well.
5. Wrap in plastic wrap or parchment paper, leave for 10 minutes to set, then cut in half to serve.

You can add tomato slices and/or cucumber slices if you like.
