Try Rajasthan's famous #ChanaDalCutVada also known as #KalmiVada with #KritiRefinedOil and tell us your experience in the comments below!Ingredients1 Cup Chana daal A pinch of Hing 10 nos Black pepper 2-3 Chopped Green chilli A handful Chopped Green Coriander 1 tsp Chilli Powder 1 tsp Jeera Salt to taste2 Cups Kriti Refined Oil for deep fryingMethod:Wash and soak the chana daal for atleast 8 hours or preferably overnight.Drain the water and blend in a mixer into a coarse paste with hing and black peppercorns, do not add too much water, it needs to be a thick paste.Add green chilies’, coriander, salt, chilli powder and jeera and mix well.Heat Kriti Refined Oil in a kadai, once hot, take small portions of the dal mixture , shape them into small patties and fry them in hot oil for 3-4 minutes until golden.Fry the vadas in batches so that the oil does not become too cold while frying.Let the vadas cool a bit and then slice them and fry them again in hot oil until golden and crisp.Remove from the oil onto an absorbent paper and serve hot as snack with tea.
